G20 Culture - cycle of webinars on Protection of Cultural Heritage

Over the course of the Italian G20 Presidency, the Italian Ministry of Culture has organized a cycle of international online conferences.

The webinars will be attended by experts, scholars and operators from all over the world. The objective of the webinars is to single out common points for policy design and action for consideration by G20 countries in the relevant fora, notably the G20 culture that will be held on 29 and 30 July.

The illicit trafficking of cultural goods, the effects of climat change on cultural heritage, creative industries and digital revolution, the interaction between culture, training and education are the main topics of the next G20 Culture.

The decision to provide for a dedicated ministerial meeting also confirms the line started in 2017 when, in Florence, the first G7 Culture was held with the commitment of the States to foresee meetings of the Ministers of Culture and organizations within the major international summits.

The webinars will be in English and will be broadcast live on the YouTube channel of the Italian Ministry of Culture.
